The Egg by wackycracka The Egg by wackycracka
I was just talking with a friend a few months ago about how you never really see baby seagulls...I guess thats in Seattle.

In Long Beach, it went one step further. Seagull eggs, and baby seagulls, which are cute as hell!!!! I have photos of them too but theyre hard to catch.... fast little bastards!

Nice shot! really well handled!

I fucking hate seaguls though :P
I live on the coast myself and find the things like car alarms with wings on fucking screeching all day long,
although to be fair ive lived here nearly two years now and am pretty much used to them.

Although the last street i used to live in was right next to the beach and they used to nest on all the roof tops. When it was breeding season (or nesting season, whatever the fuck it is) they would dive bomb you coming out your own front door as they attack anything in sight to protect there eggs.
The fucking cunts!

haha thanks. i kind of like them... theyre quiet over here, never hear them except for the occasional call. i dunno what it is about seattle they must have to find really secret places to nest because i had never seen a baby seagull or egg until yesterday and ive lived by the beach for at least half of my 27 years!

Wow your lucky! maybe we have more denser population on our streets so theres only house roof tops for them close to the beach maybe?

There a realy nuisence here but there's nothing you can do to stop them, people even have all sorts of spiked contraptions on their rooftops but they still manege to nest there somehow.
there used to be a man for hire that would go around with a bird of prey (kestral I think) that used to set the bird up to scare them off but he stopped that a year or two ago as now all the seagulls gang up on any birds of prey.

do they wear bandanas? cause that would be a great pic too...

and this pic has a lot of feeling in it to me... like emo ones of lonliness but deep..

lol, Yeah they definatly have that whole gang thing going on, especially the way they sit on top of everyone's car roof's giving everyone evil eyes!

Yeah I really like that pic also, it definatly has a feeling of lonliness as well as summing up nature as a whole really in the same aspect.

yeah, they need to learn to wear bandanas so we can identify with them... and I just love this picture too I wonder if it was intentional...?
